came to New York from Rhode Island and immediately started working on advertising projects with the former Aoki Studios. Through his work there, he forged a relationship with Elbert Budin and Santiago Suarez.
Quickly establishing a reputation as a gifted facilitator, he rose through the ranks as special effects rigger, special effects supervisor, ultimately being represented by Santiago Inc. as a director/cameraman.
Doug’s expertise is not media specific, but extends from traditional 35 mm film to HD formats and, where appropriate, mini-dv. His expertise runs from stop motion to high speed, and everything in between.
